Magigoo Original Instructions
How does Magigoo Original work?

MAGIGOO® Original is the 3D printing adhesive designed for use with PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU and HIPS.
The adhesive makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and then releases as soon as it cools down. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.
MAGIGOO® has been designed and tested to work with common plastics. As the composition of each plastic is a little different, the ideal settings for MAGIGOO® may vary. Here are the recommended temperature ranges for effective application.
Material | Bed Temperature* |
PLA | 40 – 60 °C |
ABS | 90 – 110 °C |
PET-G | 60 – 90 °C |
TPU | 40 – 80 °C |
HIPS | 90 – 110 °C |
For more specific settings, check out our list of tested materials.
How to Apply

- Shake the MAGIGOO® pen like you mean it
- Press the nib (end of your pen) on the printing bed for MAGIGOO® to flow.
- Spread the adhesive evenly on the printing area(cover your bed with an even thin layer).
- Make sure that no spots are missed.
It’s best to apply MAGIGOO® when the printing bed is still cold, but it will also work when the printing bed is already hot. Make sure to use MAGIGOO® with the suggested plastics and with a correctly levelled bed and suitable printing settings. Squeeze bottle gently only when the nib is pressed against the bed. Keep the nib away from dirt.

After your prints have finished and popped off, clean the cool printing bed by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use just water.

Magigoo Original can be applied to commonly used 3D printing surface such as glass, PEI, Buildtak, Powder coated flex plates, Kapton tape and others.
