Magigoo Flex Instructions
How does Magigoo Flex work?

MAGIGOO® Flex is the 3D printing adhesive designed for use with flexible FDM filaments. This includes a variety of TPUs (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) and TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) copolymers.
The adhesive makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and are easy to remove as it cools down. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.
MAGIGOO® Flex has been designed and tested to work with different flexible filament brands. As the composition of each plastic is a little different, the ideal settings for MAGIGOO® Flex may vary.
Settings and Recommendations:
- Bed and nozzle temperature : follow filament manufacturer’s recommendation.
- Increasing the nozzle / bed temperature by 5-10 °C for first layer can aid adhesion.
- Some prints may benefit from a 10-20 mm brim for optimal adhesion.
For more specific settings, check out our list of tested materials.
How to Apply

- Shake the MAGIGOO® Flex pen like you mean it
- Press the nib (end of your pen) on the printing bed for MAGIGOO® Flex to flow.
- Spread the adhesive evenly on the printing area (cover your bed with an even thin layer).
- Make sure that no spots are missed.
MAGIGOO® Flex should be applied on a cool bed which has been appropriately cleaned (preferably with water). Make sure to use MAGIGOO® Flex with the suggested plastics and with a correctly leveled bed and suitable printing settings. Squeeze bottle gently only when the nib is pressed against the bed. Keep the nib away from dirt. A second application on a dry first application is recommended for larger prints.
WARNING: Do NOT apply when the bed is already hot.

In some cases, parts made from flexible filaments might be hard to remove from the print bed. If this happens, it is recommended to first wet around the part with a small amount of water, wait for the water to penetrate under the print and slowly work it below the part. This should make part removal easier. After your prints have been removed, clean the cool printing bed by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use just water.

MAGIGOO® Flex can be applied to commonly used 3D printing surface such as glass, PEI, Buildtak, Powder coated flex plates, Kapton tape and others.
How to store

MAGIGOO® Flex is best stored upright, with the cap closed and away from direct sunlight. MAGIGOO® Flex was specifically designed for mobility, which is good news if you want to take it with you on-the-go.
